Keith & Strathisla Regeneration Partnership KSRP was set up to deliver CED funded, environmental projects, as the successor to the Keith Initiative. It is a charitable company limited by guarantee. On completion of the CED project, an Urban Design Framework, commissioned by the group, from the Willie Miller Partnership, became a central part of a successful bid for European Funding for a Regeneration Project in Keith. Our partners in this are HIE Moray and the Moray Council who provided match funding. This project, in three sections, has brought a new, environmentally sustainable office block to Keith, a full time professional Regeneration Officer, and an appreciable amount of funding to start physical regeneration work, in Reidhaven Square in the first instance. The Regeneration Project is just one area of work that KSRP will be focussing on. Along with other community groups and organisations in Keith, including the local Neighbourhood Forum and the Community Councils, the group will be looking at a wide range of developments in order to fulfil our commitment to 'Create improvement economic conditions to help develop a more attractive environment and vibrant community' Anybody living or working in Keith is invited to become a member of KSRP. It does not matter if you attend meetings or not, you may be heavily involved in other local activities and have no time to spare. But being a member means that you will know what is going on and be able to add your voice when you want to - and will help get even more money for Keith in the future.
