New Information Vehicle Spreads the Message

A new Waste Aware Information Vehicle was launched by the Council earlier this year.  This has been designed to be able to illustrate various ways to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle for different audiences.  The vehicle has been used extensively over the past few months with educational visits to schools and attendance at many of the local fetes and festivals.

In partnership with CEIM (Community Environmental Initiatives Moray) and the Real Nappy Project information days have been set up at various locations within Moray; including the Plainstones in Elgin and the local RAF bases.  These events have all been well attended with the opportunity for residents to find out more about local recycling initiatives and ask about specific ideas or queries.
